Advance Search Features of the Way Back Machine

Archive.org offers a free Way Back Machine that lets you see how old a website is and see what it looked like on specific days. This is an entirely cool tool. For blogs and news sites, it gives you an instant look at what was going on during a particular day and shows the growth of the sites since their origination. For product websites, you can see what products were being promoted, old designs of the sites, etc. The tool also allows you to select two dates and compare the site.

The advances search allows for more information or filtered results. Some of the advanced search options include merging aliases or showing them separately, hide or flag redirects, display only certain file types, and show duplicate pages. It allows you to retrieve a URL archived copy from a specific date or the most recently archived copy. You can search for all copies of a specific URL during a specified time frame or search for all URLs for a site that has been archived.
