Yahoo’s IndexTools allows you to collect near real-time data that can be filtered for analysis with online tools or exported to offline programs. Up to 50 online actions can be tracked. You can determine demographic information such as age, gender and online interests of customers, based on the websites they visit, to better target campaigns.

IndexTools allows for customizable dashboards and widgets for each user. User rights can be set to control the data and accessibility of reports. Multiple dashboards can be created for individual campaigns that include key performance indicators, time frames, benchmarks and goals, to present in chosen chart types.

It also lets you integrate a third-party PPC campaign into your analytics. Data from other search engines as well as Yahoo can be imported for an integrated view of PPC campaigns and ROI. The disadvantage of this service is that, like Google Analytics, Yahoo retains the right to use your data for their own purpose. Yahoo allows you to export your raw data for offline analysis which Google Analytics does not.
