Metrics Provided in the Web Analytics Service
Mint is an inexpensive web analytics service available for a one-time, flat-fee of $30 per installation of the current version. Since the application is run on your own server, you own the data and are able to control its use unlike services like Google Analytics. You can track your domain and subdomains from a flexible dashboard where visits, referring links, searches and popular pages can be viewed at a glance.
The visits stats include breakdowns from the past day, week, month and year and show total page views and unique visitors. Referring stats include the newest unique referrers, the most recent and repeat referrers and those grouped by domain. You can filter searches by popular search engines.
Mint will show you your most popular pages and your most recently accessed pages. You can flag individual pages to watch for review later. It will display feed subscriptions by click-through from individual items and patterns for the past week, month and year.
Disadvantages of this service over some others is that it does not offer real-time stats, only next day reporting and does not track conversions, unlike many other paid analytic services.
