Optimize Your Site by Checking Redirect URLs
It’s important to optimize search engine traffic by correctly configuring redirects. The search engine spiders need to be able to follow the redirects you’ve set up. For example, let’s say you have a website http://xyz.com and your redirect sends visitors who type in that URL to http://xyz.com/radio. If the search engine is unable to follow the redirect it could see the http://xyz.com page as having zero content, resulting the site would rank very low.
The Redirect Checker from webconfs.com is a free tool you can embed in your website that will show you if your redirect is search engine friendly. There is also an accompanying article with excellent information on how to redirect a web page to make it search engine friendly.
